Energise Galashiels aims to provide a focus for engaging with our community, to develop a vision for and deliver actions to improve Galashiels and create a more vibrant, welcoming and confident community.
Energise Galashiels was established in November 2014, when it merged individuals and groups sharing a vision for a more vibrant, confident and inviting community. Comprising around 50 local volunteers, the group has been awarded charitable status and works alongside (but is not funded by) Scottish Borders Council.
Energise Galashiels has four subgroups, follow this link which clearly explains the group structure.
Energise Galashiels would like to extend a huge thanks to all volunteers and local groups who care so passionately about our community.
We hope you enjoy this brief review of some of the work which has been done in the Galashiels area to date. There are many ongoing exciting initiatives planned for 2016 and beyond. “Read all about it” in The Border Telegraph which has generously offered Energise Galashiels a regular monthly slot.
